ARTIST'S BIO

          Skeeter Joyce is an animator and sound designer based in Boston, Massachusetts. Since childhood, they have been mesmerized by the beauty and grace of mainstream animated media, but their journey only truly began when they first encountered experimental work. Animation no longer seemed confined to perfect linework and careful narration; it could be anything. Skeeter is especially process driven; as they are no stranger to pencil and paper, but drawn to found and organic materials as well. The intentions behind each piece vary between displaying inner struggles, posing questions of ethics, and lighthearted nature fantasies. As of now they’re searching for their next big adventure after graduating from Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
